Soccer Recap: Jones Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northside last Saturday, Jones came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Amundsen Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Jones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Amundsen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2016.

Alyssa Ramos and Aiyana Wright scored both of Jones' goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Jones now has a losing record of 2-3-2. As for Amundsen, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Jones has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wauconda on the 12th. As for Amundsen, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Crystal Lake Central on the 12th.
