Baseball Game Preview: Everett Alvarez Eagles vs. Alisal Trojans

Everett Alvarez hasn't had much luck against Alisal recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Monday, Everett Alvarez came up short against Gilroy and fell 4-1.

Everett Alvarez saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Victoriano, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Alisal also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to North Salinas by a score of 6-2. The Trojans have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Alisal now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Everett Alvarez, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everett Alvarez suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Alisal when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
