Softball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield lost 16-2 to the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals on Thursday. Springfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lanie Dumonceaux was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Springfield's record is now 8-15. As for Warrensburg-Latham, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Springfield will take on Taylorville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will square off against Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
