Basketball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo was the 42-35 winner over Sweetwater when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Buffalo Bison took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sweetwater Bulldogs on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Bison have lost by exactly eight points.

Buffalo has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Sweetwater, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Buffalo will be home for the holidays to greet Sharon-Mutual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sweetwater, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sentinel at 6:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
