Soccer Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manchester can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cosby Titans by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Manchester can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Cosby are ranked 41st).

Manchester's goal came courtesy of James Blalock, who's now up to eight this season.

Manchester is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10-1. As for Cosby, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-3.

As of now, neither Manchester nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
