Volleyball Recap: Jaelis Brito- Diaz and Ella Huskey Secure Win for Weeping Water

Weeping Water won the last time they faced Omaha Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Guardians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Weeping Water easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Leading Weeping Water to victory were Ella Huskey and Jaelis Brito- Diaz. Huskey had 14 digs and two aces, while Brito- Diaz had 14 digs. Huskey is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Weeping Water's victory bumped their record up to 4-19. As for Omaha Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

Weeping Water didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Palmyra on the 7th. As for Omaha Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Heartland Christian on the 6th.
