The College Prep & Leadership Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-53 W against the South Stokes Sauras. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Royals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Sauras are ranked 284th).

The College Prep & Leadership Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lexi Holmes, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 21 points along with five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Dumbaya, who shot 58% from the field on her way to 16 points and three steals.

The College Prep & Leadership Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.
