Volleyball Recap: Lampasas Takes a Loss

Lampasas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burnet Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, 25-18.

Lampasas' loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Burnet, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lampasas will challenge rival Gateway College Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Burnet is set to square off against their familiar foe Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
