 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Grand Valley Cardinals had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Spartans as they made off with a  52-32 win. The  win was just business As usual For Grand Valley, who after 24 games remain undefeated  this season.
 Grand Valley got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kaylae Medina out in front who  scored 16 points along with seven  assists and four  steals.  Chloe Gronewoller was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and nine  rebounds.
 Despite the  loss, Salida saw an underclassman step up:  Braeden Johnson  scored 22 points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Graysa Kindle, who  scored five points along with nine  rebounds and two  steals.
 Grand Valley's win bumped their record up to 24-0. As for Salida, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
 Grand Valley is on the road again  on Thursday and plays St. Mary's at 4:00  p.m.  on March 7th. Grand Valley's defense has only allowed 27.4  points per game  this season, so St. Mary's offense will have their work cut out for them. Salida does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
