Recap: Escambia County Blue Devils vs. Rain Red Raiders

Even though the Rain Red Raiders scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, the Escambia County Blue Devils still came out on top. Escambia County narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Rain 60-57. Escambia County's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Escambia County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Stephen Williams out in front who dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 22 rebounds, and 10 blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of Escambia County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Arnold jr., who scored 16 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds.
Escambia County pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Rain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Escambia County will be playing at home against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three matchups. Rain won't have much time to rest: their next game is against LeFlore at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. LeFlore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
