Volleyball Recap: Delphi Community Takes a Loss

Delphi Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Clinton Prairie Gophers. If the Oracles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Gophers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 21-25, 25-17, 25-6.

Courtney Nelson paced Delphi Community's offense, picking up eight kills. Nelson got some help from Abby Brown and her 13 assists.

Cambell Carter had an outrageously good game for Clinton Prairie as she had 17 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Carter has posted over her last 11 matchups.

Delphi Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Clinton Prairie, they moved to 9-17 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Delphi Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton Prairie, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Clinton Central on the 9th.
