Basketball Game Preview: Caro Tigers vs. Bad Axe Hatchets

The Caro Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Bad Axe Hatchets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Caro took on Millington on Friday. Caro took a blow against Millington, falling 75-47. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Caro had strong showings from Jacob Zybtowski, who went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points, and Connor McGarry, who posted 11 points. Landyn Stine was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Bad Axe entered their tilt with Unionville-Sebewaing on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 47-36.

Caro's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bad Axe, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Things could have been worse for Caro, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-33 loss to Bad Axe in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Caro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
