            The Ashbrook Greenwave will square off against the Albemarle Bulldogs at 7:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Ashbrook's favor as the  squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Albemarle has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
On Friday, Ashbrook needed a bit of extra time to put away East Lincoln. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Mustangs  85-83.

 It was another big night for  Issac Byers Jr, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 41 points and nine  steals. The  contest was  his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jamari Smith, who  went 8 of 17 on his way to 19  points along with six  assists and five  boards.
 Meanwhile,  it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose  71-33, which was the final score in Albemarle's tilt against Bishop McGuinness on Tuesday. The  game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring  match so far this season.
 Ashbrook's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Albemarle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
