Basketball Game Preview: Bartlett Bulldogs vs. Granger Lions

The Bartlett Bulldogs will face off against the Granger Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Bartlett came up short against Thorndale, falling 63-37. While losing is never fun, Bartlett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1300th, while Thorndale is ranked 598th).

Meanwhile, Granger hadn't done well against Holland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Granger walked away with a 53-46 victory over Holland.

Granger is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points over those games. As for Bartlett, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
