Volleyball Recap: Sierra Vista Comes Up Short

Sierra Vista was the 3-1 winner over Silverado when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountain Lions fell just short of the Skyhawks by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenna Key paced Sierra Vista's offense, picking up six kills. Key got some help from Lyla Sneek and her 12 assists. Finally, Sienna Rhein kept Sierra Vista's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Sierra Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Silverado, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Sierra Vista has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Farrington on the 29th. Silverado has also already played their next matchup (against Moapa Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
