Volleyball Recap: Keystone Comes Up Short

Keystone lost against Brookside back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Cardinals. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keystone was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Keystone lost, don't look at Mia Stefan. Despite the final result, she had six digs and five aces. Stefan has been hot, having also posted 15 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Keystone's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Brookside, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Keystone has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Open Door Christian on the 20th. As for Brookside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Midview on the 20th.
