Parker is a perfect 7-0 against Jackson-Olin since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Thundering Herd will head out to take on the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Parker and five for Jackson-Olin.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Parker's offense. They came up short against McAdory on Wednesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Parker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while McAdory are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Jackson-Olin's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Huffman by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Jackson-Olin have lost by just one goal.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Jackson-Olin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2.

Parker was able to grind out a solid win over Jackson-Olin in their previous meeting back in February, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thundering Herd since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
