Bishop came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pacific Ridge Firebirds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

While Bishop's might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pacific Ridge scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 26-28, 25-20.

Bishop's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-8. As for Pacific Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop's will venture away from home to challenge Del Norte at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will head out to face off against La Costa Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
