            Volleyball Recap: Newington Nor'easters vs. Woodstock Academy Centaurs        
        
		
        
        
            Newington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Woodstock Academy Centaurs 3-0. The Nor'easters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Centaurs, too.
 Newington was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19,  25-20.

 Newington had a senior duo take command as  Tristan Gorman  had 35 assists and eight  digs and  Adam Redman  had 18  digs and three  assists. Gorman has been hot for a while, having  posted 17 or more  assists the last 18 times he's  played.
Newington's record now sits at 18-6. As for Woodstock Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 12-7.
 Looking ahead, Newington will be playing at home against Southington  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Woodstock Academy, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Norwich Free Academy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Centaurs are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
