Softball Recap: Madeira Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Madeira can now relate to. They fell 10-6 to the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers on Tuesday. The Snails' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Madeira's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Georgetown Day, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Madeira does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Georgetown Day, they will venture away from home to take on Bullis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
