Volleyball Recap: Winslow Takes a Loss

Winslow lost against Tuba City back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Brielle Becenti paced Winslow's offense, picking up five kills. Becenti were helped by Ariana Torres and Keira Barton, who contributed six assists each.

Tuba City was led to victory by Alyssa Blackhat and AuRaiya Granger. Blackhat had nine digs and one assist, while Granger had eight assists and three digs. That's the most assists Granger has posted over her last four matches.

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Tuba City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Winslow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Show Low on the 19th. As for Tuba City, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. Johns on the 20th.
