Basketball Recap: Uplift Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Foreman came into Friday's match looking for another win against Uplift, but Keera Watts wouldn't allow it. The Uplift Titans came out on top against the Foreman Hornets by a score of 29-19 on Friday thanks in part to Watts, who posted 19 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Uplift is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.0 points per game. As for Foreman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uplift will face off against Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Uplift's defense has only allowed 21.4 points per game this season, so Douglass' offense will have their work cut out for them. Foreman has already played their next game (against Intrinsic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
