Coronado is 10-0 against Lubbock since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Coronado Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lubbock Westerners at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Coronado is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Caprock on Friday. Coronado and Caprock finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Lubbock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Palo Duro.

Coronado's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-1. As for Lubbock, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went Coronado's way against Lubbock when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Coronado made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Coronado repeat their success, or does Lubbock have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
