Volleyball Recap: Tempe Prep Gets the Win

Tempe Prep's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the San Simon Longhorns. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

Hazel Andersson paced Tempe Prep's offense, picking up nine kills. Andersson got some help from Ella Buettner and her 22 assists. Skylar Lentz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tempe Prep's record is now 3-1. As for San Simon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Tempe Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against St. Michael on the 6th. As for San Simon, they will head out on the road to square off against Bisbee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
