Baseball Recap: Tulelake Takes a Loss

Tulelake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Burney Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Honkers of the 16-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jason Orr was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Miles Scott, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Tulelake's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Burney, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Burney beat Tulelake by a score of 14-9 later that day.
