Volleyball Recap: Latin Takes a Loss

Latin's tournament run continued when they took on Maine West on Saturday. The Romans fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Romans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Jake Mathew, who had 14 digs and three assists. Those 14 digs gave him a new career-high.

Latin now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Maine West, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Latin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Taft on the 5th. As for Maine West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Conant on the 5th.
