Baseball Recap: East Ridge Comes Up Short

East Ridge managed to slip by Eustis the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The East Ridge Knights came up short against the Eustis Panthers on Friday, falling 12-1. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

East Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Eustis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Ridge will challenge South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eustis, they will take on Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Umatilla 3.2, Eustis 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
