Football Recap: Royal Highlanders vs. Buena Bulldogs

The dominant performance gave Pugh a new career-high in rushing yards. Landen Murray also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.
Jaxon Roberts was his usual excellent self, rushing for 318 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries for Buena. Roberts' longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Tyler Hoff was another key player, gaining 186 total yards and a touchdown.
Royal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Buena, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Royal is taking a road trip to face off against Ventura at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ventura is coming into the match with three straight wins at home, so Royal will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Buena, they will welcome Oak Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,017 yards in their previous games.
