Volleyball Recap: Longview Takes a Loss

Longview came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks, falling 3-0. The Lobos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Longview ultimately came up short, they really made Rockwall-Heath work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 27-25.

Longview has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-10 record this season. As for Rockwall-Heath, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Longview will face off against rival Rockwall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rockwall-Heath is set to challenge their familiar foe Forney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
