Football Recap: Richland Beats Bellefonte for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Richland won the last time they faced Bellefonte and things went their way on Friday too. The Rams managed a 33-29 win over the Raiders. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Raiders are ranked 271st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

A big part of Richland's victory came down to the chemistry between Jacob Regan and his top target Jamere Christian. Regan rushed for 44 yards and one TD while Christian picked up 93 receiving yards and one score.

Bellefonte's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Quinn Park, who rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and Ashten Howell, who picked up 67 receiving yards and one TD.

The win (which was Richland's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.8 points over those games. As for Bellefonte, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Meanwhile, Bellefonte will face off against rival Bellwood-Antis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Kaven Smith-kirk and Alex McCartney.
