There's no place like home for Ferriday, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-6 victory over the Rayville Hornets. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 40 points or more this season.

Zylon Alexander produced another solid effort rushing for 162 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. Those 162 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Robert Taylor, who picked up 35 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ferriday was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 306 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Ferriday didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chris Sheppard Jr and Paityn Collins. Ferriday received some extra help from Marion Smith, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Ferriday's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Rayville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Ferriday will square off against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rayville, they will take on Union Parish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Farmers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.7 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
