Everything went the Southside Christian Sabres' way against the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal on Thursday as the Southside Christian Sabres made off with a 17-4 win. This was payback for the Sabres, who suffered an 11-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Southside Christian and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.
