Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Sharyland

Rowe came into Friday's match looking for another win against Sharyland, but Jayleen Berlanga wouldn't allow it. The Sharyland Rattlers came out on top against the Rowe Warriors by a score of 47-36 on Friday thanks in part to Berlanga, who went 9 of 10 on her way to 25 points in addition to six steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The win made it two in a row for Sharyland and bumps their season record up to 13-7. As for Rowe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 20-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest the next time they take the court. Sharyland will head out to face Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rowe will host them at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th.
