Soccer Game Preview: Hendrickson vs. Spring Woods

The Hendrickson Hawks will challenge the Spring Woods Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Hendrickson sitting on three straight wins and Spring Woods on six.

Hendrickson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Cedar Creek an 8-0 shutout. Hendrickson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Cedar Creek from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Brea Lewis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Spring Woods duked it out with Fort Bend Kempner on Thursday. Spring Woods came out on top against Fort Bend Kempner by a score of 2-0. Spring Woods' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Hendrickson's victory bumped their record up to 16-6-3. As for Spring Woods, their win bumped their record up to 16-1-4.
