While Lancaster's victory against Richland Center wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flying Arrows won by a run and slipped past the Hornets 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Flying Arrows have posted against the Hornets since April 13, 2017.

Aleah Jackering was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emma Jensen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lancaster's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Richland Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Lancaster will head out on the road to take on Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richland Center, they will face off against River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
