Volleyball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield lost against Windom back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Springfield was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Windom's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.

Kendall Krueger paced Springfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Krueger got some help from Sophie Mude and her 14 assists.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Windom, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Springfield has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Mountain Lake/Comfrey on the 14th. As for Windom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Marshall on the 14th.
