Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-Point Chargers vs. Milford Bearcats + How To Watch

Tri-Point is 0-6 against Milford since October of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Chargers will head out to square off against the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Milford took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tri-Point, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Tri-Point narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Clifton Central 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won three in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (67-66) Tri-Point actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Milford faced off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda on Saturday. The Bearcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bearcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Tri-Point, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Tri-Point couldn't quite get it done against Milford when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
