Basketball Recap: Zane Barnett Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bethesda Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Victory Christian Academy, Harvest Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Bethesda Christian Lions with a 38-33 victory.

Harvest Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zane Barnett out in front who posted 13 points. Maddox Keeney was another key player, putting up ten points.

Harvest Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Bethesda Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvest Christian Academy will take on Sacred Heart at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Barnett and Jayden Villarreal. As for Bethesda Christian, they will face off against Victory Baptist Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
