Football Recap: New Hampstead Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 39-14 to the Pierce County Bears. The Phoenix were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why New Hampstead lost, don't look at Christian Kinlaw. Despite the final result, he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

New Hampstead's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pierce County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hampstead will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Perry at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Pierce County, they will be playing at home against Brooks County at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
