If Cerro Gordo/Bement wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Unity Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Abby Jones. The Lions came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Jones, who had five digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Unity Christian easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Unity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
