Soccer Game Preview: St. Charles West vs. Ritenour

The St. Charles West Warriors will take on the Ritenour Huskies at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. St. Charles West will be strutting in after a win while Ritenour will be coming in after a loss.

St. Charles West is returning to their home pitch after beating Pacific on theirs, despite the fact Pacific has dominated at home this season. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Indians on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given St. Charles West's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Pacific are ranked 23rd).

Ritenour had taken Pattonville down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Huskies came up short against the Pirates, falling 4-0.

The victory got St. Charles West back to even at 5-5. As for Ritenour, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-5.
