Basketball Recap: Normal University Has No Trouble Against Limestone

Normal University lost to Limestone back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Normal University Pioneers enjoyed a cozy 65-50 win over the Limestone Rockets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Normal University's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Limestone, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normal University will host Sacred Heart-Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Limestone, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Peoria at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peoria will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Limestone surely won't give up without a fight.
