Softball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Maxwell on Tuesday, Hamilton came back down to earth. The Braves came up short against the Durham Trojans on Thursday, falling 10-3. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Hamilton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brieanna Day, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hamilton now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Durham, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6-1 record this season.

Hamilton has already played their next matchup, a 24-0 victory against Maxwell on the 9th. As for Durham, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against East Nicolaus on the 9th.
