Heritage proved they can win big last Friday (they won by six) but on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Chaparral Wolverines 6-4. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Macie Wilson looked comfortable as she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Bleu Meyer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a triple, a stolen base, and two RBI. Mia Zender was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
