Lincoln had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Osceola on Thursday. The Cardinals never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 19 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Osceola, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.
