Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Forest Academy Caxys vs. Lake Forest Scouts

The Lake Forest Academy Caxys will take on the Lake Forest Scouts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Lake Forest Academy came up short against Cristo Rey St. Martin and fell 2-0. The Caxys have struggled against the CRSM recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Lake Forest also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Lake Zurich by a score of 2-0. The Scouts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lake Forest Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Lake Forest Academy couldn't quite get it done against Lake Forest in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Caxys avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
