Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside Christian Academy). They blew past the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders 24-1 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Luke Bohnsack made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grayson Crim, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Will Spotts, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Northside Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .771. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Northside Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
