Basketball Recap: Mccook Central/Montrose Comes Up Short at Home Against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton

McCook Central/Montrose unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 50-36 fall against the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans on Tuesday. The Fighting Cougars have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCook Central/Montrose will host Parker at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, they will be home for the holidays to greet Wagner at 6:30 p.m. on December 17th.
