Softball Recap: Covenant Christian Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Covenant Christian got themselves on the board against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on Thursday, but Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Raiders. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Braylin Boruff made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Boruff was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Avery Bennett, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Lilly Armstrong was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
