Baseball Recap: Iowa Comes Up Short

Iowa lost against Buckeye back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Iowa fell just short of Buckeye by a score of 8-7.

Iowa's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Buckeye, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coming up, Iowa is taking a road trip to square off against Eunice at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Iowa will need to watch out since Eunice has now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Buckeye, they have already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Leesville on the 21st.
